With his core belief that we are all part of a community, wherever we are in the world, Bill is a father of 3 adult daughters, an Historian, a teacher and an unrepentant West Ham United fan.
As well as presenting and producing community based music and magazine shows for Colne Radio, he travels, walks, occasionally runs and finds interesting people across the world with great stories to tell.

I’ve been presenting two live shows a week on a local FM Community Radio station in Great Yarmouth for nearly four years, prior to lockdown, then producing one show a week from home since then. Time for pastures new, taking my eclectic taste in music, and my slightly different sense of humour to a new wider audience, presenting music from 1950 to 2000, mainly pop, sometimes not, with chatter and banter in between.
