Presenters

I’ve been presenting two live shows a week on a local FM Community Radio station in Great Yarmouth for nearly four years, prior to lockdown, then producing one show a week from home since then. Time for pastures new, taking my eclectic taste in music, and my slightly different sense of humour to a new wider audience, presenting music from 1950 to 2000, mainly pop, sometimes not, with chatter and banter in between.

Steve is a former hospital radio presenter with a background in the electronics and telecommunication industry, one of his hobbies being collecting/restoring old broadcast equipment. Serious about what he does, whilst not taking himself too seriously, he believes that a sense of humour and fun are important to have. Steve enjoys walking and exploring new places.

Janina is a huge music fan who has lived and worked in music and theatre in the local area for the last 20 years. She produces the Never Knowingly Understood Podcast for Colchester Arts Centre, where she works as a duty manager. Janina was a partictpant on the Seeds4Growth Making Radio programme course.

Matthew has lived in Colchester since 1982 and is an active supporter of the local Colchester Awards and the Headgate Theatre.
