Linda Morgan
Linda was born in London and moved to north Essex with her family in the 70’s. She has had two successful careers, one in Local Government and the other as a Humanist Celebrant.
Although she retired from work in 2022, she is very much hoping that broadcasting, or podcasting, or both, will become her third career. Although she has had quite enough of work, she was getting a bit bored with retirement. Spending time with family and friends, going on holidays, pursuing various hobbies like textile art, music and reading was very nice but she was missing having a goal and a challenge.
Her involvement with Cone Radio came about purely by chance. She noticed that they were running a lottery funded course called “finding your voice” and, having nothing better to do on a Saturday, thought she would see what it was all about. At the end of course it was suggested that she might want to do a Blues music show for Colne Radio, and she jumped at the chance. She had always been passionate about blues music and this was an opportunity to share that.
